I wanted to go to this shop to get sheets

Walking away from the mall, we saw laundry being dried on the road?!
Lots of people bought bread and pastry from them

Egg tart and Mexican bun
The tart was flaky like a filo pastry, not the complex flakiness I was after
The fresh-from-the-oven pineapple bun on the other hand was AWESOME (thin crispy cookie topping on a soft, fluffy and slightly sweet bun)
I could eat this everyday!
The man who shared our table modeled the Hong Kong way of bun eating for me which is to flatten it and poke the fork inside to hold it up
This is how close we were with two total strangers, notice their coffee cups and our glasses
